      80TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE D-DAY LANDINGS

      The 80th anniversary of D-Day included a virtual meeting with a first-hand witness of June 6, 1944.

      On Tuesday, October 1st, Ms. Jeannine Poisson shared her memories of the D-Day landings on June 6, 1944, with the terminale students via a videoconference from Normandy where she was born. In preparation, the students read her family’s written accounts of the event. Many thanks to Ms. Poisson for the honor of entrusting us with these memories.
