Who are we?
Prins Henrik School, the French School, is an international school that is home to around 800 students and almost 40 different nationalities. Students ages two years and ten months to eighteen have the unique opportunity to learn in an environment that is open to all languages and different cultural perspectives.
The school is part of the AEFE, the Agency for French Education Abroad, a network of more than 500 schools in 139 countries, which offers a curriculum approved by the French Ministry of Education from the first year of maternelle to the last in terminale.
As a private school in Denmark, Prins Henrik School is under the authority of the Ministry of Children and Education. The school offers the French leaving examination at the end of 9th grade, the Danish Folkeskole exam in Danish, the French baccalaureate, along with the Danish-French baccalaureate (DFB).
A high academic standard and a welcoming teaching environment enables our students to learn and develop throughout their school years – and graduate with excellent test scores. From there they can choose to continue their secondary education in France, Denmark, or anywhere in the world.
HRH Princess Marie has agreed to become the patron of Prins Henrik School.
