      THE GERMAN STUDENTS IN BERLIN

      After arriving in Berlin under a radiant sun, we took advantage of the warm spring weather to have lunch at Checkpoint Charlie in a “beach bar”. Then we took a long walk to the Bundestag, which Noomi and Kara presented to us from the terrace. The students were impressed by the dome, which everyone agreed, is an architectural masterpiece. Our boat tour took us to several iconic places along the Spree River. We ended the afternoon with Eloise and France’s presentation at Brandenburg Gate and Sophie and Amélie’s presentation at the Holocaust Memorial.
