      LAUNCH OF 8TH GRADE INTERDISCIPLINARY PROJECT

      Two 8th grade classes meeting in the school auditorium for the launch of their Interdisciplinary project (integrating most of their subjects) on the theme of seas and oceans, which runs throughout the first semester. Working in teams, the students explored the main themes through a variety of activities: sea and ocean vocabulary in French, English, German and Spanish, “hole” paintings, placing the world’s twenty-one largest ports on a planisphere, biology cards, port photo puzzles, etc.  The interdisciplinary program has now officially started and promises to provide enriching new activities in all subjects throughout the first semester.  In addition, our 8th graders will be joining the AEFE “Classes à enjeux maritimes” program.
