      READING THE GRUFFALO

      Students in 5th grade read The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child in their original English versions to students in 1st and 2nd grade. Afterwards they organized small activities based on the book. It was a great opportunity for them to learn how to capture the attention of the younger children, and how to be patient with them. Their efforts were rewarded by the children’s delighted faces.
