CRANKIE BOX IN MATERNELLE
Romain Lliedo led a Crankie Box project in our maternelle PS/MS classes, based on thematic language development (including the themes transportation and spring), and another on the five senses (current sensory theme: hearing), leading to the students in maternelle PS/MS-D class illustrating, narrating, and adapting the story of “The Little Noise Hunter” in Copenhagen.
The PS students painted the background of the nine pictures with ink, and the MS students decorated them with drawings, collages, and chalk. Then the students participated in the reading and initiation of the Crankie Box, making onomatopoeic sounds to illustrate the sounds of nature and transportation.
