      TRAVELLING GERMAN STUDENTS: VIENNA

      Posted May 2, 2025

As soon as they arrived in Vienna, our terminale students (the German class) explored the city centre of Vienna, discovering iconic sites such as the Hofburg, the legendary Ankeruhr clock, the opera house, the Austrian Parliament, the Albertina, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, and the streets of Hoher Markt. The next day was devoted to the fine arts, with a guided tour in the Leopold Museum focusing on Egon Schiele, followed by a creative workshop on self-portraits. After a gourmet lunch break, the students learned the basics of dancing waltz in the prestigious setting of the Palais Palffy, before attending a great concert by Natalie Tenenbaum at the Musikverein in evening attire.

These first two days were packed full of discovery, reflection, and artistic expression with an attentive, curious, and fully engaged group. Thank you!
