      DISCOVERING OUR SUPERPOWERS

      This term, the maternelle PS-MS B class carried out a wonderful project based on the book Le poulpe aux jambes colorées (The Octopus with Colorful Legs), written by Claudia Waldmann, a parent and children’s author.

      Together with Claudia and reading this colorful story, the children were invited to explore essential themes such as managing emotions, empathy, kindness, courage, and perseverance. A total of eight sessions allowed the students to discover these everyday “superpowers” through reading, guided discussions, learning workshops, creative activities, and role-playing games.

      This project helped the children get to know themselves better, understand others, and their emotions, while building positive relationships. It creates the foundations for living together and emotional intelligence from an early age—thanks to the magic of children’s literature.

      A big thank you to Claudia Waldmann for this rich and inspiring project, which was wonderful for building self-confidence and self-awareness.
