AN UNFORGETTABLE OUTING TO THE ZOO

The children in maternelle  PS/MS A went to the zoo. As usual, they visited different parts of the zoo: the monkeys, the polar bears, the lions, the flamingos, and much more.

Afterwards, they were welcomed by a zoo guide, who led them to a very special workshop on the food chain. The children learned how animals feed in nature: what eats what. Thanks to the skeletons (heads), they understood that herbivores eat plants and carnivores eat other animals.

But the most memorable moment for them was the touch workshop. With great care, the children touched a snake (a king python), which was soft and cold, and a domestic mouse, which was very soft and cute. They were very brave.

The children came home tired but with lots to tell their parents.
