AURORE MONNEREAU AT THE SCHOOL
The biology students in 1ère and Terminale met Aurore Monnereau, a postdoctoral researcher at the Globe Institute in Copenhagen.
Aurore came to present her academic background and the results of her latest research.
She carries out genetic comparisons as part of anthropological investigations, in order to identify the waves of human migration that took place one after the other in the Neolithic period in Italy.
This was an opportunity to discuss the research profession and to discover one of the various applications of the study of human genomes, a key concept of the biology specialté programs in 1ère and terminale.
