      CRANKIE BOX IN MATERNELLE

      As part of a project to develop Crankies Boxes at the school led by Romain Lliedo the students work on the thematic language progression in maternelle (transportation and spring), and there is a class project on the five senses (sense of the period: hearing), leading to the students in maternelle PS/MS-D class illustrating, narrating, and adapting the story of “The Little Noise Hunter” in Copenhagen.

      The PS students painted the background of the nine pictures with ink, and the MS students decorated them with graphics, collages, and chalk. Then the students participated in the reading and movement of the Crankies Box, making onomatopoeic sounds to illustrate the sounds of nature and transportation.
