      GERMAN STUDENTS WITH SCHULTÜTEN

      The 5th graders, beginners in German, discovered a german tradition: the Schultüte, a sort of surprise horn that parents give their children at the start of the school year. They wanted to share it with their  friends in 2nd grade, making Schultüten themselves and offering them filled with pens, candy, pretzels, stickers.
