      GUMMI-TARZAN IN DANISH

      Posted November 4, 2025

In the DK1 classes in 5th grade, we read Ole Lund Kirkegaard’s novel Gummi-Tarzan (Rubber-Tarzan) and created a final product, a poster showing some of the tasks we worked on: Each student chose their favorite place, their favorite words, and selected positive and negative words from the book – very relevant during the school’s Bien-être week. The course ended with us watching the film and talking about differences and similarities, and on the poster, the students have made a comparative review of the film and book, as well as an important bien-être message from the film: There is always something you are good at.
