MEETING TERKEL RISBJERG

“We’re in the 7th grade. We met the Danish and French-speaking comic book author Terkel Risbjerg. He told us several interesting things, including the fact that he and his wife often make books together. She writes and he illustrates the story. His father was an illustrator, which is why he always liked to draw. He left Denmark (his country of origin) to work in France in the cartoon publishing industry, but he doesn’t really like drawing on a tablet. He also doesn’t really like drawing series, as he prefers to work with new characters. It takes him about a year to write a graphic novel. He writes for readers of all ages.” Elise, 7th grade student.
