      CHEMISTRY OLYMPICS 2024

      Two of the four candidates from Prins Henrik School took part in the second round of the 2024 National Chemistry Olympics on the theme of “Chemistry and Sports”. For three hours they investigated why oranges are a rapid source of energy in sports activities, their work included the extraction and identification of essential oils in the peel and determining the Vitamin C content of a glass of orange juice. The exercise required deep concentration and technical precision in the lab! It was a job well-done!
