SUPERCHARGING OUR SENSES
Students in maternelle (PS/MS-D) took their third trip to Landbohøjskolen Park to continue learning about time, space, and discovering living things. The students were able to observe the changes in nature in late spring and early summer. They observed changes in living things, such as trees, flowers, vegetables and insects, and in non-living things, such as man-made statues. They engaged all their four senses: observing the sights of multicolored flowers, smelling the strong perfume of laurel and roses, touching rough or soft plants, and listening to the city and birds. Some students also took the opportunity to pick up fallen petals from wilted flowers, snails, pine cones, pebbles and branches.
