    OPEN SENSES AND LIVING THINGS

    Posted June 17, 2024

The students in maternelle (PS/MS-D) went for the third time to Landbohøjskolen Park to continue learning about time and space, and discovering living things. The students were able to observe the changes in nature in late spring and early summer. They observed changes in living things, such as trees, flowers, vegetables and insects, and in non-living things, such as man-made statues. They engaged all their four senses: sight for the multicolored flowers; smell for the strong perfume of laurel and roses; touch for pungent or soft plants; and hearing for the sounds of the city and birds. Some students also took the opportunity to pick up fallen petals from wilted flowers, snails, pine cones, pebbles and branches.
