      SCHOOL CAMP IN VIMMERBY

      The fourth-grade students went on a school camp to Vimmerby in Sweden, the birthplace of Astrid Lindgren.

      Throughout the year, we have been studying in the author’s characters, such as Pippi Longstocking and Emil from Lønneberg, but also novels such as Ronia the Robber’s Daughter (Ronja Røverdatter) Mio, My Mio, and The Brothers Lionheart.

      The students were thrilled to visit Astrid Lindgren’s world near her childhood home, take part in a treasure hunt in the town, and visit the park featuring the author’s characters (Astrid Lindgren’s World).
