    THE SKY'S THE LIMIT

    After a night on watch to carry out atmospheric muon counting measurements on board the ferry from Copenhagen to Oslo, our students  enjoyed a stroll through Oslo city center and a visit to the Munch Museum, where we discovered the famous ” The Scream”… We then took the plane to Tromsø, located at 69.67° north latitude. As soon as we arrived at our accommodation, we resumed our muon counting to make the most of our time at this high latitude. This evening, our young scientists are finalizing the presentation in English of their research project to the group of researchers from the University of Tromsø’s “Space physics group” laboratory, which they will have the opportunity to visit tomorrow. A visit to the Tromsø geophysical observatory is also planned.
