      Posted December 5, 2025

🌟 [COS Project] Review of a successful educational adventure: AI and sustainable development under the critical eye of our high school students!

Over two intense days, students from the french lycées Saint-Louis in Stockholm, Prins Henrik School in Copenhagen, and René Cassin in Oslo became experts in mapping controversies around a major issue: “AI and sustainable development.” Here are the key skills they developed!

📚 A comprehensive course to master the challenges of the 21st century

The students explored this complex subject through a structured and collaborative course

      • Documentary research: Analysis of a press reviews and a documentary file to understand the many facets of the controversy.
      • Online discussions: Teamwork between the three schools to exchange views and refine their analyses.
      • Stakeholder profiles : Identification of stakeholders and their positions to map out the debates.
      • Body and voice workshop: Physical and vocal preparation to speak in public with ease.
      • Mini-debates: Putting argumentation and active listening techniques into practice.
      • Final debate simulation: A full-scale exercise to synthesize what they have learned and defend their ideas.

      💡 21st-century skills in action

This project enabled students to develop essential skills for their future:

      • Documentary research: Knowing how to sort, analyze, and synthesize reliable information.
      • Oral and communication: Structuring a speech, adapting language, and capturing the audience’s attention.
      • Collaboration: Working remotely with peers from different countries, using digital tools.
      • Critical thinking: Questioning sources, identifying biases, and building solid arguments.
      • Argumentation: Knowing how to defend a position while respecting differing opinions.
      • Psychosocial skills: Manage stress, listen actively, and respond to others’ comments.
