JOSEFINE IN THE FINALS
Several of our DFB students in high school participated in the Nordic Speech Contest at the Gentofte Main Library in March. One of our students, Josefine, has advanced to the finals, which will be held on May 7 in Copenhagen. We look forward to following along when the event takes place.
About: The Nordic Speech Contest is a free program for educators in secondary schools in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Students work on their own speeches and submit them. The best ones are selected to deliver their speeches at national speech contests—and some make it all the way to the grand Nordic Speech Contest in Copenhagen. The Nordic Speech Contest is supported by the A.P. Møller Foundation and works to strengthen young people’s democratic self-confidence.
