SCIENCE WEEK '24
A team of science teachers are organizing Science Week at LFPH from Monday, November 4 to 8, 2024!
The scheduled events include:
– Visits to the Niels Bohr Institute.
– Showing a scientific film in English in the LFPH auditorium “The hunt for the Oldest DNA”, open to students and staff
– Lectures and classroom workshops led by astrophysicist Jérôme Chenevez or soft matter physics researcher Frédéric Restagno.
– “Science fair” or “Exposition scientifique” Friday, November 8, 2024 open to students in secondaire from 2 to 4 p.m. and to all students and their families from 4 to 5 p.m.
– Filming and editing science fair presentations for students in CAV (Audio-Visual Cinema course).
– Bubbles and foams” lecture by Frédéric Restagno, CNRS researcher in soft matter physics (registration required) in the LFPH auditorium on Friday November 8 from 5:30pm. The event is open to all, including the French community, in partnership with the Institute Français and the French Embassy.
– The last day of science week includes a closing aperitif.
