      Family funds

      The school’s two Family Funds offer financial aid to families in need for field trips, school camps, and other school-related engagements.

      The Family Fund for primaire plays a vital role in school life: it organizes events throughout the school year to fund various initiatives for the students.

      The main events organized by the Family Fund for primaire:

      • Le Kermesse : a fun and highly appreciated event, held every year on the third Friday in June.
      • The World Flavors Festival: a new event for 2025, linked to the classes’ educational projects.
      • The “Clear Out Your Room” sale: held once a year.
      • And other events may be offered depending on the year.

      At each of these events, a refreshment stand and sometimes a buffet are set up.

       

      What are the funds used for?

      Thanks to your participation, the Family Fund for primaire helps financing the following each year:

      • One field trip per class (theater, museum, etc.)
      • A welcome gift for each first-grade student (for example, a book)

      The family fund for primaire fund also helps financing the a camp og field trip for families who request it, via the application form provided by the class teacher.

      The Family fund for Collège-Gymnasium (Fonds d’Aide aux Projets) is an association consisting of a team of teachers from Prins Henrik School. The aim is to provide financial support to students from 6th grade to Terminale in secondaire so that they can participate in school trips and educational projects. To achieve this goal, the association collects money with the help of students through the sale of official school sweaters, various events, and bottle collection (pant).

      The fund may request the following:

      • A justification for the application, presenting the family’s financial situation.
      • Tax documents from both parents.
      • Documentation of a child’s subsidy, if they receive support. This is available upon request from the bookkeeper at: Comptabilite@lfph.dk
      • Description of the school camp or field trip, including fees and possible expenses.
      • Information about the composition of the family and the number of children who will participate in camps/trips throughout the year.
