      CONFERENCE : HATE SPEECH

      Posted June 2, 2026

Social media can bring people together… but it also causes harm.
Hate speech, online tensions, and disrespect: digital interactions are now an integral part of young people’s daily lives and raise critical issues regarding communication and citizenship.

As part of the citizenship program, students in grades from seconde to terminale at Prins Henrik School attended a conference focused on hate speech, the manosphere, and online behavior.

Led by Kim Ebengaard Jensen, PhD in English Linguistics from the University of Copenhagen, this session opened a dialogue about respect, the impact of social media, and how to better live together, both in the school environment and online.

A wonderful initiative to encourage listening, kindness, and a more conscious sense of citizenship today.
