THE GUDULE PRESENTATION
The “GUDULE” group of young high-school researchers, supervised by Antoine Manier and Marie-Anne Déjoan, experts on cosmic radiation, welcomed school parents for an English-language presentation of their research. They presented their work and results, which they will be presenting to researchers from the Space Physics Group at the University of Tromsø in Norway at the end of February.
The audience learned about the many facets of the ambitious scientific project. Among the research topics covered, the students presented the design of a muon detector, a Python programming for data analysis, the simulation of cosmic phenomena, and the design and 3D printing of a container to protect their device. The group’s collaboration with French and international scientists was also highlighted. The scientific trip to Norway undoubtedly holds many new discoveries for the group, as well as valuable exchanges with scientists in Tromsø!
