      DANISH SONG IN THE STAIRCASE

      That’s what we sing when we go up to the Maternelle Danish class at Prins Henrik School.
      The 3-4 year-olds have a 45-minute Danish class three times a week, and they have to go up and down the stairs to get to the Danish room – so there’s no time to waste!

      We sing for several reasons. Firstly, to create a good transition for the children, secondly, to give them as much Danish as possible, and thirdly, to strengthen the children’s community.
